The Finnish NATO discussion 18 months into the process still hasn’t addressed a number of basic questions. We are overlooking the role Estonia, a seasoned NATO member, could play in Finland’s integration, and have focused on the wrong things when discussing JFC-allocating. In addition, we should move quickly to implement closer Finnish-Estonian defence cooperation.
