I had the great pleasure of being interviewed by Jefferson Desport for the Sunday edition of Sud Ouest, where I discussed Finland’s NATO membership, whether we are afraid of Russia, and the long shadow of Russian aggression stretching from the 1940’s through Hungary, Czechoslovakia, Georgia, and Crimea. The piece was part of the background for the newspaper’s reporting on Exercise Atlantic Trident which was held in Finland in June.
