Following the freighter HAV Dolphin setting its course towards Vasa questions were raised about what it was doing here, and whether it really was a clandestine drone carrier working for Russia. Following it leaving without incident, questions were instead asked about whether this was all much ado about nothing, or whether getting media to report on the ship doing nothing in particular was the purpose in itself?

I got the opportunity to discuss these question together with LtCol Oscar Lassenius and Jonas Jungar of YLE, as well as what actually constitute hybrid operations, and what is the role of media and individuals in countering these. The companion piece and stream are found here (in Swedish).
